Bookings taken over the phone* or via email are a contract between the customer and the company (Nex Pest Control.

Our standard Terms and Conditions of sale:
Parking and toll charges
PLEASE NOTE: If parking is not provided by the customer, parking costs will be added to the bill. Any toll / congestion charges will also be added to the bill.
Pricing
Average house sizes based on number of bedrooms are used when we quote over the phone or email. Nex Pest Control reserve the right to amend the quotation based on the size of the property upon inspection or survey or should the customer’s requirements change.
In high levels of infestation where our standard service may not be the most appropriate treatment we will advise and recommend the best service and the cost of doing this. As a customer you are within your right to decline an upgraded service but you will be charged should you choose to cancel the agreed service arrangement. Phone calls
Most of our phone calls are recorded for best practice. We reserve the right to use information in these calls to resolve any problems. At the time a booking is made this is a contract between Nex Pest Control and the customer. The recording acts as proof of this contract and our terms and conditions are in place at this time.
Access
The customer must give Nex Pest Control and their representatives access at the time and date agreed and prepare the property as described when booking the service. If keys are provided they must open and close all locks without any special efforts or skills. Failure to give us access will result in a cancellation/ reschedule fee of £70 for a 1 man team or £140 for a 2 man team (depending on treatment type).
Nex Pest Control cannot be held responsible for triggering any alarm systems. The customer must provide adequate information on disabling and resetting alarms and locks on the premises.
Customers are required to aid the technician in finding parking if necessary. Permits must be provided to the visiting representative if applicable, all parking costs/ toll charges will be added to the bill and borne by the customer.
Payment
Nex Pest Control accept the following types of payment-
For Domestic customers, We operate a policy of collecting payment on the first visit to avoid non-payment risk. Please ensure you are prepared and have the neccessary funds to pay at the end of the first visit.
We accept the following payment methods.
1. Cash Payments
2. Invoice- bank transfer.
On successful creation of account with Nex Pest Control we offer payment terms of 7 days to commercial customers.
Cancellation & Deposit Policy
Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE.
All cancellations incur a charge of 50% of the treatment price.
Making an appointment over the phone or by email is a binding contract between the customer and Nex Pest Control, in order to cancel you must do so by either email or over the phone with more than 24 hours’ notice. Last minute phone calls or emails will not be accepted and cancellation fee of the full amount of the job will apply.
Please note our current minimum call out charge is £70.
If we arrive and you do not require our services, this includes if the problem is not a pest or it has been wrongly identified, this call out charge is payable.
We understand that at last minute things can change and you may not be able to make the appointment, so we are happy to wave the cancellation charge providing the job is re-booked within 7 days (please note: this does not apply for free of charge follow-up visits. You will be charged cancellation for follow-up visits if we are notified of cancellation later than 24 hours before the booking).
These terms and conditions are binding and Nex Pest Control will invoice cancellation fees if necessary. Failure to pay cancellation fees within 7 days will mean the debt will be passed to our debt recovery specialists, in this case, the third party recovery agents exercise the right to also recover their costs which will increase the charge significantly.
Cancellation fees apply to the following:
No show by customer at visit date/time of technician.
Non-compliance with preparation list as supplied by company.
Customer cancellation.
Payments for solar panel proofing
Payments for solar panel proofing are required on job completion. On receiving payment a proofing report, our 15-20 year warranty depending on mesh finish and receipt will be sent electronically.
Ownership of equipment
All bait stations, traps and other devices are the property of Nex pest control. These devices are not sold or leased to the client unless specifically stated on the treatment report or invoice. The responsibility of damage to or loss of any device supplied by Nex pest control, as part of the service provided, shall pass to the client at the point of delivery, and shall remain with the client until such time that devices are removed by Nex pest control.
Health and safety
The client will take all reasonable steps to ensure that the advice and instructions given by Nex pest control to protect the health and safety of persons using the premises during and after the provision of the services are followed.
Claims
Once a treatment has been carried out there are no grounds for a refund. Nex Pest Control carry out treatments at the customer request. Treatments cannot be ‘un-done’ without significant cost (often more than the treatment itself).
If a customer has a problem with any of the work Nex Pest Control undertake they are politely asked to voice all concerns in an email to – nexpestelimination@outlook.com
Our policy is to respond within 7 working days.
If necessary we will investigate all claims and complaints in order to present the best possible rectification.
Any damage caused by us will be paid for ONLY if contractors/ materials are ordered through or accepted by Nex Pest Control
PRIOR to rectification works.
Anything beyond the above will be done through our insurance, a copy of which can be seen on the about page.

Guarantees
Nex pest control offer treatment guarantees on all of our services. Guarantees will be void if customers do not follow our guidance, treatment preparation guidance or carry out reasonable proofing / hygiene recommendations relating to the pest problem.
Guarantees are not included on services where the affected property is part of a terrace or the property is semi attached. Rodents are able to transition between properties using loft spaces, floor voids and walls. Nex pest control will always try to find the ingress point/s to restrict access into the affected property, however if the ingress point/s are on an attached property it can complicate matters. Nex pest control will always attempt to engage with neighbouring property owners when trying to resolve a pest issue if we believe it is stemming from their property.
Fully detached properties are automatically offered our pest free guarantee.
Solar panel proofing 15-20 year warranty
A warranty is included with every solar panel pigeon proofing job sold. The length of the warranty depends on the mesh finish. Our galvanised finish comes with a 15 year warranty and our black pvc coated finish comes with a 20 year warranty. If for any reason a solar clip/s fail or mesh comes loose under normal conditions we will happily return to site to repair or replace the defected part/s including the labour to put right free of charge. The warranty does not include damages caused by the owner or third parties removing the solar panel mesh or clips for service/maintenance. Damages caused to the solar panel proofing work by snow or an extreme weather event are not covered. In the event your solar panel proofing is damaged by snow or by an extreme weather event, we can provide you with a quotation to fix the affected part/s.
What to expect after you have had your solar panels pigeon proofed.
Once solar mesh has been installed to your panels, rest assure the pigeons will not be able to gain access to the area beneath the panels. The pigeons will return to inspect the work which has been carried out. They will walk around the panel perimeter looking for a way under. Failing to get under the panels, it is quite common for the pigeons to roost out in the open, outside of the meshed panels. Usually within 1-4 weeks of having the panels proofed, the pigeons will leave seeking alternative shelter. The greater the number of pigeons, the longer the relocation process can take. It is advised to act as soon as possible when pigeons start taking an interest in your panels. Pigeons that are born and raised underneath solar panels can be very persistent. These pigeons associate your panels as home, from birth they have known no different. Once all of the birds have relocated, your proofed panels will offer many years of protection and they will be unattractive to further birds looking to nest.
Squirrel retrofit solar panel reinforcement upgrade.
Since the start of 2024 we have observed a new behaviour displayed by squirrels. They have begun nesting underneath solar panels. Prior to 2024 this was never heard of. Since learning about this shift in squirrel behaviour, we have redesigned our solar panel pigeon proofing mesh installs taking in to account the threat of squirrels. All of our 2024 solar panel pigeon proofing jobs are completely squirrel resistant. Prior to 2024 our installs were designed and sold to customers in order to restrict birds, more specifically feral pigeons. A squirrel’s strength and it’s abilities are much greater than a birds, with this in mind installs carried out prior to the start 2024 may require a reinforcement upgrade to protect against squirrels. If any of our previous customers notice squirrels in the vicinity of their panels, it is highly recommended to contact Nex pest control immediately to request a quote for the required squirrel reinforcement upgrade. During this upgrade visit we will reinforce your exisiting mesh installation to additonally protect against squirrels and also carry out a mesh installation health check at the same time.
Rat flap installations and maintenance.
When installing rat flaps, Nex pest control are responsible for the initial setup of the flap. We ensure the flap is fitted correctly, making sure the flap is secure, fixed to the inspection chamber wall and not rubbing or catching the floor or sides of waste pipe it has been fitted to. We always take a video of the rat flap operating on completion of installing it and keep it locally on record.
